Are the End Times Near?

I have recently watched the movie 2012 and it got me thinking, then my mother told me about watching a show about the Mayan Calendar and the predictions that have already come true. I have decided to do my own research.

I would like to say that anything I post about the end times will be non-bias although I would also like to inform you that I am a Christian, I believe in God whole-heartedly and I believe when the Bible says that no man shall know the day nor the hour. But I do find speculation interesting, so I will be venturing into the unknown (at least by me) and reporting back to all of you what I find out. It shall be an interesting journey!
